    How long should i run it then? Longest I ran it was a minute, after i seen no water i shut it off really quick. Before all this happened i was getting water immediately after starting the boat i think my thermostat was stuck open therefore i replaced it.

    got in back on, engine was still aligned, what i ended up having to do was letting my trailer tounge lay on the ground on a jack and then jacking up the back of the boat, thanks for all the suggestions!

    I have my shifter all the way in forward and when i go to install the drive i hold pressure on the propeller (counter clockwise) making sure it doesn’t pop out of forward while doing that i give it a good push.

    This might be the problem. I had problems pulling the drive in the first place where I couldn’t put it by hand, seen on a forum somewhere where they used a 2x4 and the trim rams to take it out and it popped right out so it very well could’ve been the alignment.

    I tried this many MANY times and still nothing, i ordered the alignment tool just to be sure, it’s something that needs to be done one way or the other so might as well check it and be done with it. Thanks for the advice everyone, I’ll get back with everyone when it arrives.

    Just ordered a can of T9, more expensive ,hopefully it’ll be worth it. Gonna respray it with rust oleum first then hit it with the T9, Thanks for all the suggestions.
