    Yes the tank has a fill cap in build out in front of motor, any sloppy fill would be caught there.

    Thank you for copy of regs. According to them I don’t need a powered ventilation system due to the way my boat is built. And that it is built after August 1980, I do need natural ventilation .

    I have a 16 foot Spectrum with outboard motor and built in gas tank. Do I need a vented bilge blower? In first pic cover is removed for floor work, in 2nd cover is on. There is a small space for the bilge pump. It did not come with a blower.

    Is there an easy way to hookup a tach? I have a 30 hp Nissan outboard built in 2007. I would like to set up a tach to know wot and cruise rpm. Boat is new to me as well as I’m new to boats don’t want to ruin engine running wrong rpm.

    It’s a pro mariner. The one that came with boat was wired the same. The possibility of wiring wrong makes some sense.

    No did not hook up backwards. Charger came with inline fuses premade. I hooked pos to pos neg to neg. Charger working just fine. I was only wonder why a fuse on the negative wires.

    Understand what you would use a fuse, I use them all the time. I just put them on the positive side i have never put them on the negative side.

    Here I am again. Just finished installing a newer and bigger on board charger. There is an inline fuse on both positive and negative wires. To each of the three batteries. This is not something I am use to. Can someone explain why this is?

    I have a 2007 Nissan 30 hp 4 stroke fuel injected outboard motor. It is freezing outside and I will e moving boat out of garage to work on truck. Do I need to winterize motor?
