    Thanks. I will do some more investigating to see if I can confirm if the transom is in bad shape or not. It would make sense that the leak got worse after I pulled the drive if that is the issue. Anything I can do in the meantime to seal it better? Or is this a total no-go

    Is your black wire coming from the dist going to a 12V source? I would try and idle the motor and unplug / plug in the dongle. See if the RPMs change at all

    You can use the trailer button to tilt the outdrive up for trailering sure, it is the same as trim up but with no limit. I would try to avoid doing that underway, as it will tilt the outdrive past the safe point for your u-joints.

    Does it matter if you apply pressure via the vent hold or the fill hole? I have an adapter I could use to apply pressure via the fill hole but not the vent hole.

    While I am waiting for my trim manifold kit to show up I have been reading more and saw that a good way to test the seals on the drive is to pressure check them. The only slight concern I have is that the yoke seal got kinked during install. Would this be caught with a pressure check?
