    Storing mixed epoxy resin

    I have stored mixed 2 part epoxy paint in the freezer for several months and then used it with no problems. Has anyone tried this with epoxy resin. Seens to me that resin mixed with slow or medium hardner could be stored this way for short periods of time, a day or two.

    Fiberglass thickness

    I am planning on using biaxial cloth with 3/4 oz. mat stitched on it to repair a damaged area in the cockpit deck and am trying to determine what weight cloth and how many layers of laminations would it take to get at least 3/16 inch final thickness. Any ideas.

    Rudder size

    I am restoring a 22' Chris Craft with a straight inboard and I have the factory drawings. The rudder on the boat looks a little small and according to the drawing it should be about 6 inches longer fore and aft. Is it possible to have a bronze rudder enlarged by welding on an extension.
