    Fuel line size

    Just getting ready to order fuel line and primer bulb for my 1987 mariner 150, I measured the inside diameter where it attaches to the tank, it measures 3/8 however the hose looks bulged where attached, the boat shop I called said it would be 5/16, could it be 3/8 from tank to bulb then 5/16...

    1987 marineer 150 manual says no air/fuel screws

    I have a 1987 mariner 150 serial 0b117356, manual says there aren't any screws to adjust air/fuel, simply idle air bleeds, however I do have screws to adjust, what would be a good starting point, (how many turns from lightly seated.)

    HELP! Carburator question Marineer 150

    1987 mariner 150, idles poorly, runs great otherwise. top carburetor butterflies are not completely closed like the middle and lower carb, and they go beyond horizontal at full throttle. should they all be closed and could this be my cause for bad idle.

    Prop wash?

    I tried switching from my high 5 17p to my 4 blade stainless 19, while getting on plane or shortly after my rpm's would rise however not pick up speed, it seemed like it was slipping. Is this called prop wash? how do you eliminate. I;m not new to boating and have never experienced this

    What would give me more top end?

    Optimum engine temp?

    I just purchased this boat so I don't know history, it's a 25ft tahiti daycruizer 1980 with a 454, I now it depends on what thermistat is in the engine, it runs between 175 and 180 is this normal or optimum? Thanks
