    Does the new (2015) Tohatsu 30hp 4Str use same parts as 2014 model?

    They look very different, followed the ETec look that most engines seem to be. But have a 2014 30hp 4str, Im just wondering if the parts for the engine are the same and if they will keep making parts for the '14 model?

    Is my engine 2003 or 2004? E-tec 50hp DPL

    The date on the back of the engine says 11/03, but was told it is an 04 and there isnt an 03 operator manual or service manual for the 40/50/60. Is the date of manufacture different to what is considered its date for service manuals or sale etc?

    Need quick help: The Tilt Support Bar on my Etec wont move after tilting engine up, due out tomorrow!

    As per above, even with engine fully tilted up, it cannot be moved to either side, it feels firmly stuck, unless I am doing something wrong, but on it, it just says to move left or right, with engine up, I cannot move it either way all of a sudden. Am I meant to pull it out first? Here is a...

    What is this rusting at the end of the steering bar?

    Im not sure if it is the steering bar itself or something on the engine, it has rubber on each side of it which hasnt prevented water getting in there. It was just serviced by an Evinrude Tech, so I dont think its a major. I have rubbed it with my finger so the rust looks more than it is, but if...
