    1974evinrude to put 1976 pistons in it the book shows a wrestpin on the 76 is 3/4 and the 74 is 5/8 . acording to the parts manul the wriet pin berring wp15-1 will let the 76 piston work in the 74 rod . am i reading that rigt ?

    replaced the water pump on 1974 70 hp .no water out the upper exzoust holes till warmup leaver is over half way up .thin there is a goodstream. no water at idle. is this normal. papasage

    1974 70 hpruns 5 minutes or less looses power . wait a few minits it will take off thin loose power. push on choke does not help. is a coil breaking down.

    ran hot gaulded top piston dismantled found all pistons cracked on skirt have 3 pistons need one more looking for another like the 2 i have they have 3 rings highdome there is a hole in one side the size of a quarter. i have found some that is different. would like to fine one like these.
