    Do I paint new exhaust cover ??

    1969 40 HP JohnnyRude I ordered a new exhaust cover from SeaWay, and it came unpainted. Is it advisable to paint it before installing it? It looks like it may be clear anodized, but I'm not sure. I don't really care about appearance, just durability.
