    It started and ran sweet today!!

    Tonight after work i tried to start my 88 Mercury 115 I tilted it all the way down. and pumped the bulb and no gas came out the carbs!! Soo i tried to start it and she fired right up!!! One thing i did notice is that it seems to be loud!! Are these motors real loud?

    What temp is ok to hook water up to the motor?

    I was wondering if it would be ok to hook the water up to my motor and try starting it!! It still gets into the 20's here!! I was thinking it could damage somthing if water is left in it when it is that cold!! Any help!!

    Plastic plug broke,now what?

    The plastic plug on the power trim unit broke on my 88 Mercury 115, I tried to heat a srew driver and melt it into it,that didnt work,wont move!! Can i just leave it broke? I dont want parts to fall into the unit!!! Is there any other way to make the motor move up and down if the trim stops...

    Plastic bolt broke!!!

    How can i check to see if tilt/trim works?

    Is there a way at the motor to make the trim/tilt go up and down? I have a feeling my switch at the front is bad? How would you jump it?

    Cranks slow??????

    I finally got my key switched hooked up.. But the motor cranks real slow..The battery was full of charge also...Its a 86 mercury 115hp.. Ohh its been sitting for about 2 1/2 years also..

    No pwer at key switch!! HELP 115 hp Mercury

    I am not getting any power at my key switch, There is power at the starter,but no power is coming back to the switch!! I have searched for a fuse, but come up short!!! If anyone knows or could help me out!! Is there any fuse's on a 115 mercury outboard? Its 80's 115hp Thanks
