    62 Lark electrical problem?

    When I run my 40hp Lark at half throttle my compass spins like crazy. What would cause this? Ignition problem? Never had this issue before till today while out fishing.

    I have a 1962 Lark V. Today while running around the bay my forward gear went out. I was able to shift to reverse and nuetral just fine but no forward gear.     1962 Lark V 40 HP Generator

    I just installed and ran my recently purchased motor...runs like a top. Anyways....I noticed that my AMP meter showed no sign that the DC generator was charging my battery. I know the motor needs to be above 2000 rpm..I tried running with the lights on and the electronics on also. Still no sign...

    63 Evinrude Lark IV Ignition Problem

    I just aquired a 63 40HP Selectric Shift model. Engine was super clean, well maintained...ect. The only problem was that the top cyl was not getting spark. I replaced both coils, caps and points...gapped them to .020 as the manual states. Now both cyl do not have spark. I disconneted the wiring...
