    Cant select forward and reverse

    Hi, Is there any reason why i cant select forward and reverse.(mercury 650) if i set/adjust the cable i can get forward and neutral or reverse and neutral if i adjust it the other way! there doesnt seem to be enough travel from the cable to be able to select all of them.
