    1957 18 hp evinrude carb pics needed

    I just obtained a 1957 Evinrude 18 hp motor. The carb just doesn't look right to me. The spring is buggered up, and looks loose. I am not sure if it is connected correctly. If you have pics of this carb, please post them so i can see how it supposed to be. Thanks

    1982 4 hp Evinrude cooling problems.

    I bought a 1982 Evinrude recently, and upon getting it running again, it seemed to be running hot. I pulled the lower unit off, and tried blowing air through the water tube, and it is plugged.
