    Do u think this is rebuild able?

    This is a pre alpha outdrive do u think its rebuildable. By looking at the prop i think it hit rocks. I took the oil out and it was not milky. I just bought this starcraft im wondering if i should just replace the outdrive. I dont know what to do?:confused:

    What can happen if you overpower? I have a 68 starcraft with a 4 cyl merc (140hp). I am wondering if i can install a v8. I know the hid tag says 170 limit. But what dangers are there when you over power?

    Hydraulic Pump question

    I have a 1968 holiday with a 140 4 cyl. My trim motor is shorted out. I think i found a new one but my question is can I replace it w/another more modern pump as long as the fittings fit? (like pic 9)

    Grounding to Aluminum?

    I am rewiring my 68 holiday and im thinking why cant you ground your battery to the aluminum hull??? Im trying to lessen the wiring and it seems that this one way. Will corrosion play a big part to this? (new to this board & my first boat)
