    evinrude 88 spl wont start

    was warm today so i got out the boats. 72 bomber with the 650 mercury ran like a champ on questionable gas. 80 glasstream with an 88 rude wouldnt start. only 1 out of 8 times did the starter engage the flywheel. it just spun, fresh battery and all?any advice?

    glasstream cutlass 172

    if got an '80 model cutlass 172 by glasstream, none of the gauges work except the fuel gauge. it bobs wildly until about a quarter of a tank is spent thens drops to e. whats the deal? whats an opinion of the boat. im running an 88 spl rude

    88spl

    is a starter hard to replace on an 88 spl. i have never done much work and boats and dont have a clue. was thinkin bout spring and how in the fall the motor had trouble crankin. the starter would just spin. bad connections? bad starter?

    merc 650 quitness

    if i am trolling at a pretty good speed, fast as a 22lb motor guide can go, should i hear any noise from the 650. it kinda rattles as you go along, kinda like a queen of hearts on a 24 spoke wheel.
