    cant fit boat in new garage

    blew my reverse

    '89 yamaha 90hp. i was in fast idle and put it in reverse too quickly b4 the engine rev'd down. now, when i put it in reverse, it rev's up then starts clicking. it still spins, but dosent put out any power. just enuf to barely stear. is this a whole lower unit rebuild? or could it be...
