    transom problem NEED help

    OK I have a 1989(I think) Yar Craft w/ a 125hp force. while replaceing my floor and carpet with new i noticed a crack in the inside fiberglass on the transom, with the wood somewhat soft behind it. Is this fixable or is the boat toast?

    Took boat out for the first time since I bought it. Only have a 6 gal. tank for now. Motored about 12 miles and went through 5.75 gal. of gas. This seems way to dam much fuel usage. or do I need one heck of a tune up? Zell66 :confused:
