    ok guys when i am at idle (600 - 850) the motor slowly overheats :confused: if i am at 1200 rpm or more it does not even go over 50 and the motor also does not overheat on plane. i checked for cloges and theres none i got a new impeller kit just to make sure it was not that and it still...

    ok i have a 1983 120 mercruiser and when the motor is running it sounds like i have a diesel engine it also sounds like it has piston slap or main/connecting rod bearings are bad but i checked all bearing looks fine to me??????? i hope this info is better then the other post...

    ok i have a 1981 mercruiser 120 now it is all 2007 updated but why at idel it over heats only at idel, so i took off the hose from the lower unit and water does come out but only like a strem of water??/ so my ? is, is i/o mercruiser supposed to over heat??/ sorry if i misspelled anything
