    Dies in Reverse on Muffs

    I have motor that keeps dying on the muffs when shifting into reverse?? I have recently adjusted the shift cable due to it not entering reverse?? 1973 I/O inline 6 165hp Mercrusier motor and outdrive Model one outdrive i believe

    Trim Settings??

    Hey I am new to the whole I/O thing and was wondering where my trim should be set for optimum take off and WOT ??     1973 Starcraft Rebuild

    Here are some pics of my most recent rebuild ... boat was in very bad condition and have just started the rebuild, Motor looked suprisingly clean which is why I took on this project. So far i have torn out all Floors and seats and surrounds, along with trim. cooling system needs to be redone...

    Motor Won't Go over 1100 rpm

    My 1973 Mercuiser 165hp 6 cylinder wont rev over 1100 - 1200 rpm, gets on plain fine just doesnt get up to speed??? carb rebuild or Points??

    Proper Prop sizing???

    Hey just wondering what size of prop should be on my 1973 fiberglass 21.5ft starcraft with a 165 mercruiser straight six and model I outdrive, it currently has a 4 blade prop on it but not sure of the size???

    Won't shift into forward or Reverse

    Just put a new waterpump in the outdrive of my 73 starcraft, when i put it back together and in the water it ran fine but it wouldn't shift into forward or reverse. I took it back apart and redid it but now it shifts but you can still turn the prop by hand... HELP
