    HM Teleflex Cable Seized Up?

    I have a 14.5 foot thundercraft with a 700 series 70 HP Mercury Engine. It doesnt have any steering at all. Totally seized up. Now it is using a single cable telefix cable steering system. Is there a easy way to repair it? Perhaps dissasemble and sand cable grease oil ??? Any ideas Guys im not...

    Feeling Dumb about70 Merc Tilt??

    I am new to this forum. Nice bunch and loads of info. Now i just bought a thundercraft with a 70 Horse 700 Mercury outboard. It runs well. I cannot figure out how to get the thing to tilt up. ??/ I had 4 other guys lookin at it and we all gave up and just drank some Budweisers. Please Help

    1978 700 Merc Shaft Stiff

    No not mine. I grab the merc prop0 in neutral and itm turns very stiffly. Now it hasnt been run for years but does fire and run but shafts stiff Whaddyah think, Thanx Mike New Member
