    Got the carb out and took it apart, Diaphram had holes and all the gaskets were crusty. Would this cause rough idle? Gonna clean put all new gaskets in and spark plugs then test, then to the lower end.

    Swapped old condensers in and tuned points with a multimeter, checked gap at the set mark on cam, was sitting perfectly at .20 and look at her run. The new condensers in the tune up kit lasted 5 trips, think these old ones are as old as me....lol they sure don't make things the same any more...

    Is 16 the main jet? I am gonna do a rebuilt kit on this carb when I get more time but for now I will take her easy on it. How about spraying some seafoam in the carb? Think that will clean it out? 🤔

    So this is with the old points in and 1 old condenser in, I am going to order some OEM points and condensers. That aftermarket stuff is not the best. Still needs some fine tuning but it's a lot better. I am going to set the points with the multimeter and test again.

    I did, hooked up a timing gun and it looked good through my amateur eyes nice rapid pulse on both cylinders. I will get new plugs, then record a video of the timing light and post it. I absolutely appreciate your time, thanks again.

    So another thing I noticed, when setting with meter, put the 1 line on the flywheel in-between the 2 on the mag plate, the end of the points where it touches the cam, are no where near the "set" on the cam. At WOT it is but not at idle. I will re try at the area it's at when setting the lines...
