    older merc 115hp distributor cap needed

    I have a older 115hp 6 cyl merc outboard and can't find a new distributor cap for it any where. can anyone tell me if there is any place dealing in the older merc parts??.serial # on this engine is 1503150 only numbers i find and cant find the year of this out board anywhere. any help?? thanks

    no wot

    1983 90hp seahorse, was running great then had a no start. turned out to be a bad wirein the harness. since then to wot, will run smooth and nice to half throttle but once you try to go full throttle just boggs down. checked compression 1-90 2-100 3-100 4-95 any overhauled carbs,decarboned...
