    Thermostat-how do I know it's working

    I'm running a 98 Johnson 115 hp and was wondering how can I tell if my thermostat is operating properly. The motor does not appear to be running hot and visual water eject hole is working fine. I am not sure the engine is running at the proper temperature for efficiency.

    Pulse setting on new tach

    I am installing a new Teleflex Sahara tachometer on my boat and am running a 98 Johnson 115 hp motor. I would like to know what due I set the pulse setting to.
