    Black Max 175

    Anybody know a place on the block that will verify what engine I have. The serial number comes back to an 84 200 h.p but the engine covers say 175. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I need to install a waterpump and want to make sure I have the correct part.

    I have a 1993 Procraft Super 180 that has a Mercury Black Max 175 on it. I am not sure of the motor year, but the serial # is 6523566.
