    Prop Movement

    Mercruiser 5.7L I/O. When the prop is bolted firmly to the shaft how much inward/outward play should the shaft have in it? If I grip my prop and pull out on it, the the whole shaft (not the entire sterndrive) slides out about 1/8 of an inch. Is this ok? Thank you. - Logan
