    Tri Hull Question

    I was just wondering why so many people seem to dislike Tri Hull boats? I have never ridden in one myself so I dont know how they handle or what problems they have. I see them on craigslist fairly often for a good price so was just wondering why they are so cheap.

    ear muffs 8hp johnson

    do they make earmuffs that will fit my 2001 short shaft 8hp Johnson. or do i have to run it in the barrel? I go in the river where the water is salty so i flush it when i come back. I just don't like having to drag a barrel out and fill it up everything i need to flush it.

    Can I run my fish finder and my trolling motor off the same battery? Or will using the trolling motor while the fish finder is on effect the voltage?

    Johson 8hp idle problem

    Hello, I have a 2001 Johnson 8hp. When it is in neutral it will idle with the throttle all the way back. but when its in gear and i try to idle it really low it dies out. It is a pain when I am trying to troll because it will idle for a little bit then start to die out. Do I need to clean the carb?

    How can you tell if your outboard has a charging system. I really doubt that mine has one. The only reason I asked is because I saw another Johnson 8 that claimed to have one.

    8hp johnson

    I just purchased a 2000 8hp Johnson for 400 dollars. I haven't seen many 8hp outboards out there and was wondering if it will have decent power and get me planing. It will be pushing my 12 Mirrocraft aluminum boat. weighs probably 175 pounds plus me (180) and the gear say 100 pounds or so.
