    Cleaning your hull (how?)

Heres the story... went out 4th of July weekend to a filthy mudhole called a lake with my new to me ('04) boat. Well after two days of sittin in the water there is a brownish waterline on the boat. I did wipe it down when I took it out of the water but it is still there. I also did a quick wash...

    sucked up mud!

Was out yesterday and although I was very far from shore I got in some shallow water and sucked up a lot of mud. Temp got to 160 before I was able to run it out of the shallow water. The temp dropped once I was out. At the end of the day the temp started to get a bit higher than normal. But did...

What am I missing? (carb linkage)

Ok, if I set the linkage up when engine is cold and choke is closed the engine idle stop screw rests on the fast idle cam, but once engine is warmed and choke plate opens then the stop is held off the fast idle cam because the throttle cable is in same position. Does anyone get what I am saying...

    Carb Qusestion (choke tube)

I just ordered a new carb and all looks well besides the fact that my carb has the hot air choke tube entering on side of choke assembly and the new ones inlet nipple is on the bottom. If I bend my tubing to make fit is that okay? Or should I just return it for the correct one?

There is a seal there below dipstick screw and the one on my boat is molded to fit in the area below the screw (dipstick) Now I went to the shop and they gave me a flat rubber washer and I told them "that was not what was on there now"...

What would you start with? (OMC)

Here's the problem: You have to keep pumping the gas to get it to start, then you must feather the throttle to keep it from dying while trying to take off. Once you are cruising all is well. Sometimes when you shut it off it will diesel. History: when I bought the boat it would not even idle so...

Too far in water when launching?

I just got to thinking a couple times last year I would shore launch. I would have to back my truck in to the water as deep as the floor boards. How easily is it to get water in the diff and damage it? Should I worry or do a lot of people do this?
