Anybody have any experience with Costa Coat gelcoat restoring liquid? I am buffing my boat but it is impossible to get between the boat and the wheel wells with the buffer.
My set up is a bit different, I took the intake hose and put it in a 5 gallon bucket with mixed antifreeze and ran it till the mix was discharged. I used real anitfreeze. I also have a couple of drain cocks way down low. I am running a single screw no outdrive.
I drain the motor then I pump it full of antifreeze, pull the thermostat so I don't have to run the engine till it warms up to pump the mix thru till it discharges. Cheap insurance and makes me comfortable all winter long.
Last fall I drained my 351 and then pickled it. I pulled the thermostat to do so. I neglected to order a replacement gasket for the thermostat housing last fall. I ordered a half dozen should be good for a while. Keep what you need in stock. Next week when I go pick up new spark plugs 2 sets...
My neighbor rode his bike over yesterday, he bought a 49cc motor kit that mounted to a regular pedal bike, he said he paid less than $200 for it. It goes pretty fast.
I live at the end of a penulisa beautiful bay out my garage window. I spend a lot of time watching birds negotiate bay space in the spring. I saw something this spring I watched loons mate, considering how vocal loons are the process was very quiet. Cross that off a birders list.
I worked for the MN DNR forestry for 25 years. I was a fire crew leader woodland fire got to be on a couple fires in the BWCAW in northern Minnesota. I have got to operate an outboard over the wilderness line many times, at one point I was 1 of less than 200 people that have run a chainsaw in...
I hope for another summer like last summer we got to sit at the end of the dock and watch loons fish and teach their youngster. Loon migration is amazing. We are so blessed to live on a super clear lake with visibility on a secchi of 14 feet.
I seem to have avoided infection. Was back down in Florida to pack up the family home kayaks gone, will probably never be dumb enough to wade fish in Florida again.
