    i'm going to use a truck motor in my boat, and i ve always heard i need marine head gaskets and brass welsh plugs. If my boat will never see salt water, is this still required, and what's the reason for this?

    what size socket do i need for a merc alpha one gen 2? i'm pretty sure it's a hex socket, but as i'm at work i cant se it, and want to pick it up on the way home. thanks.

    transom seal kit req'd

    was hoping somebody could give me some help. i've got a 96 lund with a merc. eng. and drive. i need to replace the bellows and gimbal bearing. I have found some on the internet, but unsure if they'll fit. my transom serial # is OF57???? the parts ad says it will fit alpha one/gen 2 from '91-99...
