    Powerhead installation

    What is the easiest way to install the powerhead and lower cowling? As I remember this was a pain in the a$$ to get off let alone on. And... to make things worse.. I will need to not screw up any of the paint in the process.

    Reed blocks

    I have 2 set's of reed blocks. One set has a 140 stamped on the reed stops. These stops also have slots in them(vents?).. anyway.. this is on a 1973 evinrude 115.     Cowling seal

    They no longer make a seal for my 1973 115 V4 evinrude. I have heard of weather stripping to do the job. Has anyone done this and what did you use? Also, what glue did you use to apply it?

    to loc-tite or not to loc-tite, any answers

    I am re-building an outboard. Should I use loc-tite? I have replaced all the bolts with hardened socket head cap screws. Won't they vibrate out if I use never sieze?
