    '82 Merc 25hp reed change

    Am going to change factory reeds to Boyesen Reeds. Do the two gaskets go on dry or with sealer. Also does reed box seal go in dry or with sealer?<br />Appreciate any info anyone has got.

    1982 Merc 25hp carb float setting

    Cleaned and put in carb kit. Set float at 1/32" as directed but motor still chuggs a little at idle. Am going to put in a set of Boyesen Power Reeds - should I set float at 1/32" or maybe reset level with housing? Would really appreciate suggestions. Thanks in advance. <br />Jim

    Land & Sea Torque-shift props

    Have Neptune 200CC w/E-115hp, Am going to repower with E/J 175hp. Any info-pros/cons, practical experience, first-hand/second-hand knowledge, etc. about the torque-shift would be appreciated. Seems to beat two props hands down.<br /><br />Count your Blessings<br />Not your troubles<br /> :)

    Evinrude model year?

    Looking to purchase Rude 115. Should be 1995 year. Can't get " introduces " to work out. Model I read is: E115TXAD? or E115TXAO? " A " is correct as read on sticker. Can't make out last letter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Count you Blessings<br />Not your troubles

    Boat capacity plate

    I am considering purchasing a 1995 Neptune 200CC and the capacity plate is missing. Need to know max HP and max load. Am in Louisiana - will LDWF frown on a boat with no capacity plate?
