    100 amp altanater

    1988 5.7L <br />just added a third battery and a 1500 watt inverter (want to brew coffee ) so should i upgrade my altanater to 100 amps or more to recharge the batteries quicker.<br />i have a 700watt that runs the tv/dvd and the 1500 just to brew coffee. so heres the situation....watch tv...

    upper gear shaft

    does the alpha one upper gear shaft turn when the boat is in neutral or does it have too be in drive or reverse.....and is it ok to run a boat in drive at low rpm with ears on

    alpha one retainer nut

    The book says to mark the retainer and houseing so it can go back in the same place.<br />ok what if i broke the nut getting it out, how do i know where to stop tightening the new one when i put it back together. its a 1988 attached to a 5.7liter 260hp

    alpha one water pump

    Just finnished putting a water pump in a 1988 5.7L merc alpha one out drive...everything seemed to go ok until i fired her up. it now starts in drive even tho the lever is in the nutral position...and if i try to put it in foward or rev it stalls instantly..what did i do wrong!! and how do i fix...

    power tilt

    friend has a 1976 grady white with a OMC 120 I/O<br />the power tilt goes up but not down. replaced the down celinoid...didnt help...also would like to know where to find a repair book for this year.<br />thanx
