    I have a R21 Mercury trolling motor that is perfect for my boat, and is in excellent condition. I want to remove the motor that is on my R21 and replace it with a larger thrust motor. It looks like any motorguide would fit. Has anyone tried this and how did you do it?

    Johnson Model CD-20R?

    What year model is this engine? It is a 5.5 hp?? Starter rope is hard to pull. I haven't been able to pull it fast enought to crank. any suggestions appreciated.

    1999 6 HP powerhead problem

    1999 6 hp powerhead has bad piston and scared block. Repair person says it is not practical (economically) to repair. Will any other model powerhead replace this one? What is my best option?

    99 model 6 hp. johnson cranking problem.

    99 model 6 hp. cranking problem. Have checked spark at plugs and they will fire and looks ok. Gas is getting to carb. Installed new fuel pump and rebuilt carb. Still will not hit a lick. Checked plugs after trying to crank and no fuel is getting to them. Why? Would appreciate help!!
