    I think I am going to use vinyl for the floor covering. What is a good place to buy vinyl? Also, I am thinking I might reuse the plywood for the side panels, but rewrap them with new vinyl. I don't know if I'll use the same vinyl for the floor and side panels.

    Thanks for the help. I'm going to need some new tools for this patch. Can I use a cheap air hammer, or do I need something specific for rivets? What thickness should the patch aluminum be? What is a good place to get clecoes?

    I did one one coat on an 18 foot boat with one quart. I had a little extra at the end, but not enough for a second coat. I'd say you need two quarts.

    There's lots of white sealant. I guess I assumed all this was done at the factory. Maybe they had trouble when they were building it, and had to add the bigger braces.

    What can I do about this crack? I'm sure it is leaking. It's on the bottom port side. 6 port side braces are extra wide. Starboard side braces are all this size. Is this normal?

    I made a mistake and cute the hole in the floor by the motor slightly too big. I made a collar that you can see in the pictures to fit underneath the motor doghouse. I was stressing over this, but I think the collar will work. Otherwise I have to spend $80 and wait until May for a new piece...

    I'm working on the floor right now. I'm using 5/8 marine plywood with the pink sheet foam underneath. I'm debating on covering it with vinyl. Does anyone have a recommendation for vinyl?
