    Pulse limiter

    Installed a new fuel pump last month on my 92 Johnson 115 crossflow. The new pump came with a black pulse limiter. Old one was blue. Which is correct? I know there was an upgrade done, but can't find it in my manual.

    Is the Mercury high performance lower unit oil synthetic? It doesn't say on the bottle, but it cost 8 bucks a quart.

    115 crossflow vs 140

    I currently have a 92 115 crossflow on a 85 Proline 17cc. What kind of performance gains could I expect by repowering with a 140hp. Current top speed with gas and gear is 37mph at 5500rpm. Also, what is the weight difference between the two motors?

    Johnson 115 fuel pump question

    I have a 92 115 x-flow with a crack in the fuel pump housing. Is it possible to substitute the older type pump without the VRO? The older pump is much cheaper ($46). Would I have to make any modifications or will it bolt up in place of the current pump?

    engine trim tab

    My boat pulls to the right when I let go of the wheel. I moved the tab to the left with no change. Does'nt this tab act like a rudder or did I move it in the wrong direction?
