    Hi can anyone tell me if my pistons from a vertical reed block will work on a horizontal reed block?? I looked up the parts on the merc parts express on the net and they are the same part number,but someone I know has a diffirent opinion.......thanks kenny

    Well I have almost all the pieces I need for my rebuild but have a question,My old block had vertical reeds and my new one has horizontal reeds,Is there a difference in the pistons from vertical to horizontal?can I use my pistons from my old block in the new?? .....kenny

    hi Ihave a 1986 200 V6 merc outboard that is hard to start when cold,everything appears to be working the cold start injection solenoid is okay,i have been told that the V6 has to be really wet to start when cold has anybody got any comments on this,when the motor is warm there is no problem
