    89 tracker steering

    Just bought a 89 Bass Tracker with a 40hp evinrude . Took it out today for the first time. Very pleased with how it runs but noticed the motor turns more one way than the other. Looks like I still have about one inch of steering rod left on the short side. Any easy way to adjust this?

    1989 40 hp tilt and trim

    Does anyone know what model number tilt and trim will fit a 1989 40 evinrude TE40ELCEC? I would rather have a factory fit as opposed to an aftermarket unit with the 6 inch setback. There are lots of options on Ebay and I was wondering if a unit from a different motor will fit. Thanks.

    I'm thinking about adding power tilt and trim my motor. The dealer says 800 to 900 for theirs. Have been looking online at aftermarket units. Panther and CMT. Anyone using any of these or does anyone have a recommendation? Will I be able to use the tilt switch on the throttle?
