    I recently acquired an old outboard a Western auto wizard 1959 10 hp. I can't seem to find any info on the oil mix ratio. I am leaning toward 24 to 1, but I've seen a post here about anything in the 50's getting 16 to 1. If anyone has an old manual or can remember it will be much appreciated...

    A friends dad is cleaning out his garage and he has a wizard 10 hp by Scott m. I am thinking about getting it ..the serial # is 17872634-(numbers worn away)..Model # MLM6910A. He says it only has 4 hrs on it. can anyone tell me If its a 58 or 59? I think it has bail o matic.

    Johnson qd-17 compression

    Hi, all...I just rebuilt the power head on a qd-17. Honed cylinders, and new rings. Did a compression check today and got 74 top, and 76 bottom. I was a little disappointed I thought 90 psi was more like it. Wdoes anyone know what is good psi for these motors?

    Hi, I botches a helicoil in my qd-17 cyl. head, and the plug don't seal, so its no more good. The closest thing I could find to replace it is a cyl. head for a qd-16, are they identical? Or can they be modified? the pic look very near to the 17.the p/n is not the same.

    I am putting new gaskets and washers on my 2 line gas can and the diaphragm looks kind of dried out, id like to replace it, but I cant see any way to remove those two support plates, they look permanently made together with the pushbutton attached. does anyone know how to replace this?
