    What kind of performance increase if any would i get converting my OMC 225 (chevy 305)to a transom exhaust versus through hub (OMC 800 stern) exhaust. And can it be done while maintaining the current sound levels?

    Holley carb performance increase?

    Have a 78 OMC 225 with stock carb. Looking for more horsepower and wondered if anyone has tried the holley 4 barrel 650 cfm carb (holley part number 0-080552) for this engine and what type of performance increase they had.

    OMC 800 Rough shifting problem

    Have a 78 OMC 800 coupled to a OMC 225 engine (small block chevy 305). When i shift into forward gently, the gears will grind a little then catch. If I pop it into forward, it goes without grinding but kind of with a clunk. Same with reverse, no grinding but kind of clunks. Once in gear, it...
