    old 35hp Johnson sea horse trouble

    Last time I had the boat out the engine was kicking around real bad and wouldn't get the boat up and plane. Then eventually it wouldn't start. I know my description is vague but I would appreciate any help you can offer, Thanks,Jon

    Prop slipping on a '67 mercury 110, 9.8 hp

    When I try to open up the throttle, the engine revs up real high and the boat slows down. I'm sure it is slipping somewhere. I first thought maybe the pin but there is none. Then took apart the gearcase thinking it might be the foreward gear, but it looked fine. I have it all back together now...
