    Mercury 9.8 Looking for spark

    Sears Eska Cooling?

    What year merc?

    I've got a 25 hp 2 cyl. Merc outboard and I've been trying to figure out the year for a while. The serial # is A14775. I believe that it is a 1986 model..... I guess I just want to double check and make sure of it. Thanks.

    merc won't run

    I have recently been given a 1975 110 9.8 hp mercury from a friend. It hasn't been running for a while because a few years ago it was sunk in a lake. I've cleaned it over pretty well.
