    Yeah the first pic has the big fittings for oil lines and oil temp. The second pic is the gen 6 that does not have the big oil fittings. And no fittings in second pic that is just a shut off plate no holes in it

    So I'm trying to put a gen 6 502 block in my 91 boat. Not sure if that makes mine a gen 4 or 5..... The only issue I'm having is the oil cooler lines are different. Can I run the boat without an oil cooler? Or buy an adapter to convert it some how? Just swap out the lines with the newer gen 6...
