    Warning horn test-blew fuse but no horn

    grounded tan wire to block. It was shooting sparks so it was live. Held it there tight but it blew the main fuse (20Amp). The horn has 2 purple wires and a tan wire connected. Anything else I can check or is horn a goner ?

    What is the best tool to use to pull the old one off ? It is a mechnical not hydraulic system. Advance Auto has several options for me to borrow. Steering wheel puller or gear puller. Which one ?

    ignition - does it need to have a direct connection to battery ?

    I got the battery connected to the motor and the ignition harness plugged at motor but no response. Do I at least need to ground ignition ? I apologize for my ignorance.
