    A 3.0 Merc. cruse in a 221 Islander Hard top. Prop approx 22 pitch. Says it will run at 35 or so with 4 men and gear.

    Looking for this rod holder.

    I'm trying to find a match to this Guide Series Fishing Rod Holder. Its a boat mount on the gunnels. They don't make them any more. The old owner dropped it over board. Well I got one side, and both bases are there. Would any one have one of these laying around by chance?

    I have small 6 or 7 horse Yamaha tiller 2 stroke. I'm wondering what would be the cheapest route for remote steer. Other then the link between I/o and kicker. Be nice to have throttle but since its in the handle. I assume it would be more costly then its worth. Hope to upgrade to a four stroke...

    Looking at a 1987 Islander Hard top. Does anyone know whats required to remove the top section. Im assuming an 8 foot door wont let one in on a trailer. THinking with that section off it may. Seems that may be riveted or bolted. And maybe i could remove it to another bay of my garage for winter...

    anchor systems what's the best type anchor winch for a 22 ft hardtop islanders.

    Fishing Erie perch most times we use a 100 ft anchor line and 6 ft chain. Like to find a electric anchor winch with 150 - 200 just in case. All I see is 100 ft. Wondering if any one uses one of these or any other. Fish contest in erie mostly.

    Engine trim problems

    Ok here's what happened. First trim would work then not. Then it would again. Well went to pull boat from lake and wouldn't raise at all.     Just wondering about washing boat out at dock! I don't see no drain holes, so would washing out not be a good idea? I 'm thinking it has to drain to bilge then bail. But not sure.

    Steering on starcraft.

    took the boat out and ran great. But when I flip around hard the steering is tough to pull back. On slow turns it's fine. Just when turned a long way. Any ideas? By the way its a 93 starcraft Holiday with a 4 cycl 181 gm 4 cyl. Steers fine till you turn a long way.
