    bigger motor for bayliner capri??

    i have a 1988 bayliner capri-16ft bowrider with a force 50hp ob. what is the biggest motor i can put on this boat-and are the steering and throttle controls universal between engines?? thanks for any help

    i just purchased this boat pretty cheap-but we just took it out on the lake and only goes maybe 15 mph???? shouldn't it go faster than that?? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
