    what year is this from? if anyone can tell

    Im sure its from 1957-something bc the lower unit off of it went on my evinrude fisherman but im thinkin of trying to sale it on ebay.. so if anyone knows the exact year and a good listing price thats not stupid high so it will actually sale but not dirt cheap either...

    Fuel line help

    I bought a universal 3/8 fuel line hose with bubble in it already.. bought johnson/evinrude end fuel connectors and they dont work with my 1963 evinrude..? its not sealing or something? over the years did these fuel connectors change?

    Water pump help

    I have a 1963 evinrude 5.5 that I finally got working well and now I Crunk it up and let it idle for about 10 min. and it felt really hot to me It is pumping water but not enough.. I see videos on youtube and theres is spitting more than mine. the impeller is brand new.. and the water pumping...

    Ok to everyone that has helped me thus far. thank you.. Motor is pumping water fine now.. lots of water.. BUT BUT BUT now i crank it and it runs for about 10-20 sec. and stops and the motor feels like its trying to cease up.. like its hard to pull... hard to grab the flywheel and spin it...

    1963 evinrude 5.5 hp

    I just got this motor running and it wasnt pumping water and I just pulled the power head and lower unit off and found that the water pump impeller on it was still in really good shape so now im wondering why it isnt pumping?

    Do I really have to pull the powerhead on this engine to change the impeller.. I read somewhere that you had to even though its between the upper and lower unit??????

    First year anniversary gift

    Old carb help

    Im so dumb when it comes to outboards just started messin with them.. and I have an old 1963 evinrude 5.5.. Had no fire.. replaced the coils.. BIG blue spark now.. so thats solved.. next thing is the carb.. I pull the choke.. First pull on the motor it pops one time Really loud and wont start...
