    Is multipurpose lubricant the same as marine grease?

    I am replacing my shift shaft bushing and my service manual is saying to "lubricant oil seals and o ring with multipurpose lubricant". Is that the same as marine grease? Or do I need to buy something different?

    Issues with water in exhaust with pics

    I have water getting into my motor/exhaust when testing it in a barrel. When I pull the lower unit it is full of milkey sludge. I did some work on my motor over the winter. I replace the gasket between the powerhead and exhaust. My guess is it's not dealing? Thoughts.
