I'll agree with a good padlock. You can weld the coupler or tack weld the bolts and nuts. Don't over think it. They can bust the truck window and take the whole thing
I really like channel cats. Flatheads are good eating too, but we only keep them 20lb and smaller. Give the big ones away or put them back. Never had a blue cat, even when we lived along the Missouri for a few years.

Other way around. The cable loads and breaks and flies back really fast and can cause serious injury. I've seen it half a dozen times. I've switched my winches, Jeep and SxS to Dyneema, just so this doesn't happen.
I don't think the glass and resins would stick very well to that. Good buy for something else though! Someone else may have an idea about that stuff for ya though. Gettin the big winds there too today?
There are a bunch in southern MI that do those same setups. Don't know any that far south but there should be. Great Lakes Lift and Dock might be around there.
