hello all,,,need to repaint my 1983 115 rude engine cover ....anyone know which grit of sand paper to rough it up and not to create scratches later......any thoughts and ideas appreciated. thks

Looking to purchase a new ss prop for best perf that does not give a lot of bow lift . Looking in the range of 19 to 21p ,,,also 1 that will provide stern lift if there is such a thing? ...1983 evirude 115 ,,,any sugg. ? thks
my motor is already set in 2nd from the top .....Need more rpm should i go to the max or just 1 hole up ,,,,how many rpm will i gain moving it up 1? right now it is even with the bottom of the transom ......looking to gain at least 500rpm ........
HELP DHALEY.......went out today to test a 22p raker .The lettering on the prop is 1 inch long ,, stamped and 1/4 high ......when i power up from full trim in it will take forver to get on plane but does......... continue trimming up and power comes on nice ie; rpm....my wet area seemed to be...

had a 1981 90hp evirude changed to a 1983 115hp evirude ,everything being equal including the same prop i gained 4mph would this right ? thks .......was expecting a little more......

have a 1983 evirude 115 ,replaced rectifier and new one is heating up temp is roughly 135f have been pulling my hair out tryin to find the problem any suggestions would be much appreciated
