    screw issues

    2 pump kits

    ive just worked out my merc1000 has 2 fuel pumps. Does this mean i need 2 rebuild kits or just the one will do both. cheers

    prop removal

    im trying to change my prop on my merc 1000. Looks like it has a main prop nut and a tab washer thing also. Ive bent all the tabs up, so there not catching on anything, but what to do next. Do i remove the tabs washer or turn the nut? stupid question i know, but i just cant move it

    Throttle Problem

    I have a merc reband 1000, she runs like a dream. But, sometimes even when i let her idle for a minute or so, then apply the throttle it dies on me. I start up again and will work ok. What could it be?

    painting location

    Just a quick one guys. I currently store my boat at my work factory, no probs. This winter I am going to start my 'restore' project. The only problem is, I can sand, prep. or paint the boat in the factory. I don't know anyone that has a free garage or area for me to do this over 2-3 months...

    merc stuck

    ok, this is not a cable problem. all cables disconnected. I bought this boat with a 1978ish merc 100 on it, the moter will tilt, but wont move sideways, ie steer. can anyone help.
