    If I pull my drive off and remove the impeller housing to check it, do I need to change the gaskets on the wear plate?     2007 4.3 TKS Alarm

    I had a intermittent alarm the other day while boating. Both my Temp and oil pressure were fine. The next day there was no alarm at all. Does this alarm only indicate temperature and oil pressure issues or is there something else I can check. Thanks for any help.

    Gasket sealer for water pump

    The manual states to apply Mercury Perfect Seal to the small hole gasket on the water pump housing. Do you use it on both the top and bottom of the gasket or just one side? and is the permatex aviation gasket maker sufficient? This is on the alpha 1 gen 2 drive. Thanks for the help.

    I just changed the Lube in my outdrive but now I need to remove it. Can I drain the lube into a clean container and re-use it or should I spend yet more money and buy a couple more jugs?
